Trading in his white gloves for a spare room at his elderly mother’s apartment, Jarvis navigates the wonderfully mundane chaos of everyday New York life: a stubborn television that refuses to cooperate, the maddening patience required of a delayed subway car, and the particular frustration of a pay phone that has no interest in working.
It turns out that saving the world looks very different when you’re doing it one ordinary person at a time.
